Bottom line: Final Fantasy IV is a fantastic game and while it has some cracks of age that show, the pixel remaster does amend a good bit of them. The font is a pain to read but it is an easy fix. A high encounter rate can become a chore. Cons: A weak main villain that could use a rewrite. Nice visual upgrade that keeps close to the original as possible but with minor tweaks and effects. Cecil is still one of the best protagonists in the series. Nice visual upgrade that keeps Pros: Great story that stands the test of time. Pros: Great story that stands the test of time.
